Onboarding: What To Expect

Over the next 90 days you will have a chance to explore all things Mercury; our culture and values, our products, our initiatives for change and growth, and more! Everything you need is available in this platform, as well as opportunities to connect with members of the Mercury community.

Mercury Networking & Social Events

Connect with other new hires across the company in the Lounge. You will receive calendar invites via email for other virtual and in-person events to get to know our One Mercury community.

Mercury Information Booths

Take a self-guided tour through the Exhibit Hall to explore information about benefits, IT, career growth at Mercury, and more. Some of these groups offer an “office hours” style opportunity for Q&A.

Mercury Required Training

You will complete the required new hire trainings in ADP. You can find instructions to access ADP in the Exhibit Hall.

Onboarding at Mercury Systems is a 90-day experience. The experience was intentionally designed to best support our new team members and welcome you into the One Mercury community.
This platform gives you access to any information a new hire would want or need. We know starting at a new company can be overwhelming, so we've provided information at your fingertips that you can access on-demand. The Exhibit Hall contains the majority of this information.
Yes! Your manager knows about your onboarding experience and has set aside time for you during your first week to access the information in this platform, as well as complete your onboarding tasks during the 90 days.
Mandatory trainings will be completed in your ADP account under "My Learning". While exploring this platform is not mandatory, this platform contains all of the information that a new hire would want in one convenient place.
To have the best experience possible, please connect to the company network to access the information on this platform. While much of this content can be accessed on or off the company network, in some instances we have linked out to our intranet site.
Your Mercury team members are here to help you! Your manager, buddy, and HRBP are excellent sources of information. For HR and IT help, go to the Info Desk within the platform and submit a ticket.
For assistance with the vFairs platform, please contact vFairs support using the orange chat bubble at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, or by clicking the vFairs Tech Support stand in the Info Desk (after you log in).
When you accepted the position, your manager requested your technology. If you will be on-site your first day, your technology will be ready for you then. If you are fully remote, you may or may not receive your technology your first day. This is dependent on shipping times.
Your manager will provide you with a schedule, part of which may be populated in your Outlook calendar, for your first day. You will have time to set up your laptop and workstation, as well as access the information in this platform.
The focus of your first day will be getting to know the company and employee resources, and you will have an opportunity to connect with your manager. All of these can be done on a personal device, since you may not have your laptop yet and we want to give you plenty of time to set up your laptop once you receive it.
You should have received an email with instructions for connecting to the VPN. You can also call the IT Help Desk Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST at (978) 967-3000.
As per notification in your new hire package, your first check is always a live check. Live checks are mailed to your address on file in ADP from ADP service center in New Jersey. Your direct deposit will not go into effect until the following pay period. If it is the following pay period and you still have not received direct deposit, please verify on my.adp.com that your account information is correct. You should see a note on your pay statement that the bank was notified and direct deposit will begin after account verification.
Yes! Your feedback is vital to making this experience positive and effective for all employees. You will receive 3 emails from Glint with surveys 14 days, 60 days, and 6 months after your first day with Mercury.
